Good product. Easily installed the only issue is the hook faces to the side and doesn’t point forward.

Good substitute for expensive SafeRack hooks, but can only be installed perpendicular to grating (facing forward). Will buy again.

Here is my advice. If you really need hooks to hang from the overhead storage bins and you can't find anything else, these will work. I thought somehow they would snap in place but they sort of just hang there and can easily move. Also, put them where you want them BEFORE you fill your overhead storage because the way they are designed you need to push up through the grid to get it to fit (you just have to see for yourself). I would not buy again but I did keep one set. Returned the other. A black pant hook would work just same if not an easier install.

I have a unique issue of garage wall shelving where the rafter boards are laid flat with 2x4s (1.5"x3.5"), see Dino shelf products (discontinued) and other similar anchored wall shelves. I've looked everywhere for a right size hanger hook, from big box stores to Etsy tradecrafts but doesn't seem to exist.I don't like the idea of screwing in big nail hooks on the underside of the rafter boards since it becomes permanent. This is the only rafter hook that fits ... If you use it in reverse. The reverse side measures 3.5" exactly and snugly fits over the 2x4s, while the other end can be used as a hanger hook too.

Bought these for my Saferacks overhead rack. Good quality hooks for a very good price. Even though these hooks will run parallel to the length of the rack, it is still possible to hang the bicycles along the length by simply placing the hooks at an angle (photo attached). The curved end fits tightly into the grid and the bicycle wheel along the other end of the hook will prevent the hooks from becoming parallel to the rack and eventually coming off.

Pros:1. Well built. Sturdy metal base with a rubbery plastic coating.2. Easy to use. Just slide it onto the HyLoft ceiling rack or HyLoft shelf, or whatever HyLoft device you've bought3. Holds at least 30 pounds without bending out of shape.Cons:1. It's not free.Summary:The description of what it fits didn't match the HyLoft shelf and ceiling unit that i bought, so I took a risk and bought it to try it out and found out that it fits just fine. I have a feeling that this will pretty much fit whatever HyLoft device you own. The packaging states it will hold 25 pounds. I have one of the hooks holding up a 30 pound load and the hook has not bent out of shape or twisted since I put it up 5 months ago.

I got these hoping they'd fit my saferacks rack from costco at an incredibly cheaper price. Yes! They only fit in one direction. The hooks are parallel to the long dimension of my 4'x8' rack, basically the curled end and the vertical part go on the metal deck on adjacent "close" wires, but putting it on adjacent "far" wires on the deck would not fit as the gap is too large. They're maybe 1/4" longer than the exact "close" distance on the deck wires, but that isn't enough that the curled end can come off unless you lift the hook (and whatever it is holding) a good 2". So, they seem perfectly secure and are now holding up a bunch of bikes, etc. below my saferacks rack.
