The plastic gear that came out was part plastic and part metal. What a strange design it was. This new gear is solid and should last forever. Getting to the gear motor is the hard part for me.Four screws to remove the motor cover and the gear is a very simple R&R. Ten minutes top.

I liked that it was a nice cut gear and shipped fast. I only wish I could have contacted the shipper directly as I wanted it overnighted if possible. Would like to do more business with them in the future
