I have a ton of Dewalt batteries so this was a perfect find for me. Being able to get some cheaper tools that I really won't use much AND using the same battery platform that I already have opens up a whole new world for me.As for this device itself its really well made. Solid plastic and adds barely any weight to the tool. It doesn't really change the balance of the tools that I've tested with either. I like how I can just leave it on one tool that I use more often and remove the batter for charging.This one makes sure to call out "no gaps". It clicks right onto the tool, but you will need to make sure the battery is all the way in. Took me a few tests to figure it out as I was focusing on the tool, not the battery connection.

This is a well constructed adapter. It is not a low-effort 3D printed product, it is actual smooth plastic from a mass-production line and the battery release has a nice spring just like how OEM batteries do. The orientation is also correctly designed, where the battery release for the adapter and the DeWALT battery are on the same side.I tested this on the Bauer 7 gallon 20v wet/dry vacuum, which is about as high drain as it gets. I have plenty of DeWALT batteries, but they don't make a large diameter polisher and if they did it certainly wouldn't be sold for as cheap as Bauer tools are. I attached a 12.0 Ah 60v Flexvolt battery and a 10.0 Ah 20v battery. Both worked on the buffer just fine. PowerStack batteries do NOT work, but that appears to be the case with all of these battery adapters regardless of which brand you are adapting into.If you're like me and wondering why the bottom is blue instead of DeWALT yellow, it's likely because this also works with Hercules branded tools which are light blue.It is currently listed for $25 at the time of this review, but after coupon comes down to $19. A small price to pay to open up the world of cheap Bauer 20v tools without having to invest in a new battery system.

This Adapter for Bauer 20V Tools allows me to use my 20v Dewalt batteries in Harbor Freight Bauer brand tools. This adapter works well, but it does feel very cheap. It fits my Bauer tools and works well, if it hit the floor, I don't think it would survive the fall.

I want to be able to buy some cheaper Bauer tools, but I don’t want to have to deal with different charging stations, etc. I got this adapter, and it fits my batteries well. I also have some after-market DeWalt batteries, and they fit right into this adapter. I was worried that it might be too tight or too loose, but that’s not a concern. This is a good purchase.

I found a Bauer power tool that I wanted but it did not come with a battery. This adapter is the perfect solution. I can use the DeWalt batteries I already have to power my new Bauer tool. That means one less battery charger cluttering my workshop. It also saves money…batteries are expensive.

Allows me to use my 20v Dewalt batteries in Harbor Freight Bauer brand tools. It fits good and is cheap, both in terms of price and quality. It feels like if you dropped the tool it would probably break, but it has been working fine for me so far.
