I used this and the circuit board/housing from a dead Hitachi battery to make a Hitachi (Metabo HPT) tool to Kobalt battery adapter. The fit and finish of this Amazon part is great. It is injection molded (versus some of the 3D printed versions) and can be disassembled by removing (4) screws.

The battery fits perfect. I wired this into a Razor scooter that had two odd sized 12v lead acid batteries wired for 24v. Butt-spliced the leads to the harness that I cut off the OEM batteries. Couldn't have asked for a better solution.

Everything about the adapter is of high quality. I'm using 2 to mount the batteries in a Razor Quad replacing 2x12V lead acid batteries. The plastic is very high quality and finish is perfect. No odd edges, seams, or mistakes. The 3 mounting holes are chamfered allowing for flush sitting screw heads. I wish there were additional holes, but the 3 allowed plenty of adaptability. The connection contact blades are substantial and thick enough to ensure a solid connection. There is little to no loose fit when the battery is in place. This makes it perfect for our off-road usage. The wires are a bit short, under 6 inches, and very stiff. Definitely need a high power iron for soldering as the inner core and outer tinner strands are heavy gauge.The only cons:Very thick and stiff wireWires are a bit shortOverall: 100% satisfied and recommend. In fact I bought another set for a different project.
