Works very well. Disregard the negative reviews. Most people just don’t know how to set up the voltage regulator.

This does absolutely what it's designed to do. People don't understand the controls of the voltage cutoff but it's such a generic part that if you can't learn to Google instructions you're probably not the person who should be buying this product. This doesn't take a ton of electrical experience to put together. The wiring diagram shown in the photos is 100% correct. You may need to have a multimeter handy to calibrate the voltage by holding down the left button, mine came in the box set correct but worth it to double check.Make sure you press the left button twice to set the cutoff to 16.5 or higher or it may damage your Milwaukee battery I set it to 16.5 to be safe. I think the default 2v difference is great but you can change that as well by double clicking the right button that makes it so you need to have at least 2v more than the cutoff to bring power to the system. Hold the right button if you want to set a delay in minutes for when it brings power back to the system. Not really needed for this use case I figured.Again great all in one product. You can save money by buying it all separately, the main reason I went with this is because of the case it comes with as well as just having everything in one order.

I bought this product and i have experimented with it it is FREAKING AWESOME, if you are smart or well read or a mechanic like me who does know what the heck they are doing get this the chinese quality is great, chinese electronics are actually some of the best, its the people asking them and paying them to make cheaper products for their own personal gain that is the culprit behind the cheap quality dilemma were facing, milwakee tools are made in china and they are the best on earth better than snap on, anyways they did good with this product 2 different readouts and very accurate and no delay on the power settings all batteries need low voltage cutoff to ensure their lifespan if you read the fine print and know about batteries you would buy this for every DIY activity involving batteries 5 stars

I read a few reviews about no directions. There is a picture of how it’s supposed to be wired. As long as you follow that it should work. Unfortunately the voltage regulator box that controls power did not work. Once everything was installed I noticed the voltage gauge not working. I tested outputs of the box and the average output was 3.88 volts. It did spike once to 4.02 volts. I have it running with dual batteries and the voltage cutoff. Just noticed the voltage cut off shuts it off much higher than programmed.

Edited- Seller contacted me and offered full refund, so 2 stars went to 4 stars for customer service.I just installed this on my kids jetson she got for Christmas. I bought this kit for the low voltage battery protector and moreso the voltage regulator so I could keep the output at 12v for now instead of 20 volts. When wired up on the bench, everything works fine with the output dialed to 12v showing on the little round display and 12V out confirmed with my multimeter. But when I plug the output to the car, voltage jumps up to 20.3V and can't be dialed down with the knob. I also tried it again on the bench and interestingly the voltage also jumps up from 12V to 20.3V if I unplug the round display in the kit.In short, the adjustment knob is useless. Otherwise the car works, just at a fast speed.

This really is a great conversion kit for power wheels but the low voltage cutoff board worked for a second, then wouldn’t deliver power to the buck converter anymore. So I clipped the wires and wired the battery leads directly to the buck converter and it works great.Pros: The switch on the battery adapterThe voltage readoutAnd the voltage adjustment knob (I wired it to the dash)Cons:The low voltage protection board.

This product does not come with any documentation, or instructions. Unless you can read Cangi, you will need to refer to the seller page for wiring instructions. I have tried twice to receive the goods that are billed. Attempt number one came with a potentiometer with a broken lead which required soldering prior to setup, after the loose wire was secured and tested, the unit provided no power out of the Low Voltage Protection Circuit, and the Potentiometer proved faulty. The second unit does have a functional LVPC, however the variable voltage function is not operational. It does not provide variable voltage output, What it does provide is another potentiometer that was a complete waste of human, machine and material resources. The whole purpose of this purchase was to tune the output voltage of an M18, it has served as a waste of time. BUYER BEWARE.
