I don't know if you've seen the YouTube videos where people have an annual race with modified PowerWheels. While that sounds like fun, it's also hilarious. But you know what's not hilarious? When one of the racers catches on fire because he didn't put any safety measures in his circuitry. He probably just hooked up a 24V battery to his 12V motor, and off he went- on fire..

What a great way to power your Power Wheels. I have plenty of cordless tool batteries laying around so this makes it much easier to swap them out on the fly. This kit is also great to see the actual voltage of the batteries.

A bundle of top quality parts, that are combined to match the requirement fittings of a power wheels kids toy. This is an easy to install battery replacement and added ride settings. It improves the performance and functionalities of the toy, as well as safety and security. It provides an improved and extended ride experience. The durability and quality of these parts exceeds its value. I recommend it for bringing that old power wheels toy back into your children’s play time.

The entire system does work. However the output potentiometer knob is very touchy. You breath on it and it jumps voltage. The step down inverter also only displays power when there is draw, not sure if that's a defect or that's just how it is.I haven't used anything that has heavy power draw yet But if something does go wrong I will update this

Does take a little bit to figure out because there's no instruction.Thank you for all the use of shared some experience about this. It's a pretty well put together kit.I am installing it into the power wheel Jeep. The original battery it's no longer producing enough power and battery life for sufficient amount of play time. This setup allow me to swap out the Milwaukee batrery quickly.A great way to give your power wheel or are the driving toys a new Life.So far it has been e months, and my kid definitely play with it every weekend extensively. so far so good.Leave your all regional battery goes out on those toys this is not a bad idea to convert them .

This is a really neat little kit!It has a controller that prevents you from overdischarging your battery. A motor controller so you can set the top speed or let it fly. And a battery connection made for the Milwaukee M18 battery. There's also a small voltmeter you can put somewhere you can quick look at the status of the battery.Everything you'd want to properly do an upgrade. How awesome would it be if Milwaukee made a motor upgrade for these? Right?!?!?!?! They could sell it at Home Depot. Make it with a speed control and cutoff so you dont completely deplete the battery. Milwaukee would make A LOT of money off that. Put a little Milwaukee decal in the box to add some advertising. That would be awesome!Until that happens this is a very good place to start.

I installed this kit on a F-150 Powerwheels. I have several kids and like the ability to adjust the voltage depending on each kid. Some notes:It is not listed on the PWM but the input side is on the right side nearest to the LED bulb.Output is on the left side as you look at the screw terminalsVery nice and easy to use low voltage cutoff. This is the sturdiest unit I have used and has 2 nice mounting tabs. I mounted this part under the hood where the battery normally goes. The battery holder is good and offers an On/Off switch. This is a nice feature that allow you to shut off power to the whole car without removing the battery. Small but really nice feature. The voltage output LED screen is a nice touch and works perfectly. (It just doesn't show up in the picture that well) (Also you will notice another voltage meter on the left I was playing around with, it does not come with the kit, but I was using it to monitor battery voltage/level, while the one that came with the kit monitors voltage to the drive motors)I like the adjustment dial but you have to have someplace to mount it. I choose to mount my on the dash of the car. However you have to choose carefully because you will need to place the PWM pretty close to that dial or you are going to have to splice and legthen those 5 wires going to that adjustment dial.In the pictures you can see that I drilled holes in the dash for both the adjustment dial and the voltage display.Lastly I installed a .5 ohm resistor on the gas pedal switch for softer starts. It goes on the orange wire on Power Wheels brand cars. You can read more about this but when you add more power to the car it gets a lot more jerky on the starts and stops. The resistor helps soften the stops. All in all pretty good value for this setup. Hope this helps!

First off, came with zero instructions. Once I funny figured it out.. it worked great for about 20 minutes. Now nothing. The speed controller appears to be fried as once it’s unhooked it works great, but dead in the water as soon as it’s connected.
