Works great on smooth hard surfaces, a little slow on wood/bumpy surfaces. Easy to install, no need to pre drill holes. Haven’t heard any squeaking and they’ve been outside in the rain for the last week, no signs on rust either.

Oddly enough I used these on the bottom of a bassinet type thing for a medical class room. We needed the crib to be mobile and we just added the wheels and now it’s easily rolled from one side of the room to the other. They hold the wooden crib well. They look great and they were super easy to install.

4 stars instead of 5 bc of issues with screws.I purchased these a few times to put on to the C-tables that I built as Christmas gifts. The Tables arent very heavy(15-20 pounds) made of cedar and pine. These casters worked perfectly. I have two rolling tables myself that I put these one. They are on my back porch(concrete) and get a lot of use. They have worked well, roll easily and smoothly. The only negative is(and I read this in other reviews before I first ordered) some of the screws that came with the casters were faulty-the X had metal in it so i either couldnt use it or it would strip easily so i couldnt completely screw it in or unscrew it to replace it! I had a lot of screws on hand, so wasnt really a big deal. Mfgr: Maybe include some extra screws since this seems to be a recurring issue
