Great for charging rebuilt battery packs using a programable charger. Can also power any equipment with a portable DC power supply. Can be very handy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the leads are rather stiff but not a show stopper.

If you know what you are doing, this will give your kids battery car more go and speed. Not complicated, and is pretty cheap.

Look, I never thought I'd be writing a passionate review about a battery adapter of all things, but here we are. This little device has turned my lonely shelf of Ryobi batteries into a veritable army of possibility-packed power sources.Before this adapter came into my life, my Ryobi batteries were like retired superheroes, just sitting there reminiscing about their glory days of powering drills and leaf blowers. Now? They're having a full-blown mid-life crisis, powering everything from my kid's Power Wheels (which now does 0-60* in about three decades) to my completely unnecessary but totally awesome DIY RC lawnmower that terrifies the neighborhood cats.*Inches per hour, that is.The switch feature is particularly fantastic because apparently, letting your children drain a $100 battery to zero while doing donuts in the driveway isn't considered "responsible parenting." I used this to convert and 12v kids electric ATV, over to 18v ryobi battery. Worked perfectly, even go in game the option of a switch on the battery as well as boosting the power of the ATV. Easier to keep the ATV battery charged now since I have many Ryobi batteries. I made a surf fishing wagon out of the ATV and converted it to the Ryobi for the very reason of lighter weight and more power and easier to charge than the 12v batteries. Wagon works wonderfully now

These work great and are offered at a good price. They work perfect with the light project I needed them for. I do wish they used higher strand, more flexible wires but that is minor compared to the rest of the quality.
