The springs on this are wound so tight that this product is unusable. All other covers I've used are designed better than this. It's unfortunate because the cover itself is the right size, but I couldn't install this without it springing back on my hand painfully and I could not get the springs in the hole without it whipping back at me.

In general these are a beautiful & large vent cover! However the clamps are flimsy and can make the instillation difficult, but otherwise a great product!

The springs on these are exceptionally tight and in the minimal space of my existing fan housing they mousetrapped my fingers several times while trying to seat them into their slots. This isn't a bad thing as it means they hold the covers in place exceptionally well, but it is mildly painful if you don't plan for it in advance.
