I have purchased a few of these now. I use it for side lights to come on and stay on for 3 seconds when I turn my turn signals on. Setting it up with the programmer isn’t hard. Remembering what function you need to program is one of my issues. There isn’t an easy cheat sheet or instructions that come with it or the programmer. You have to go to their site to figure out what each function does. They do have a lot of tutorial videos to watch. I previously used a delay relay and the cheapest one of those I could find was over $70. They lasted about as long as these last. So price wise this is a better purchase.

These are handy for numerous uses. Easy to program. I needed a fan to run for 5 minutes after pushing the button. Problem solved. Will be buying more!

The programmability of this is great and once you learn how to use it, it is very logical and easy to use. There is a lot of power to what this can do and now I look for ways to use it. For loads > 4A or so or ones with an inductive component, I use a relay and just use this to switch the load carrying one.

I use the timer for a simple on/off functionon a 10amp motor, no triggers or anything. It works flawlessly.Definitely get the programming attachment. Well worth it.

I bought 2 of these to control the contactors in an electric car conversion, turning on and off the 12v feed. They were easy to program and seem rugged. So far I like them.

This is the new version of the timer that requires that you buy a programming tool (timer version 8). It is too bad you have to buy the programming tool, but on the other hand, the tool makes the timer much easier to program. The programming tool allows you to input timing values in your cell phone as opposed to touching wires together for certain lengths of time. These timers are amazing and even with the price of the programming tool, they are still a great value and amazingly versatile. Fantastic.

The old timers could be easily programmed manually with no additional hardware. This newer version REQUIRES a separately purchased $20 programmer for any use at all. It works, but if I had noticed it requires extra hardware I would have not bothered to buy this.
