Used this timer to replace the same broken timer in an outdoor Intermatic low voltage lighting timer box with power transformer. Only change was I had to adapt the wire from the old one to the new one with wire spade terminals. Easy and economical fix.

New 600 watt low voltage landscape power supplies are expensive. Sure they have a digital timer, but you can resurrect your old analog unit by replacing the part that wears out first - the timer! This was an exact fit for my old Malibu 600 watt transformer. Easy fix, too.

I ordered this timer for a landscape lighting system that is 24 years old. The old timer had stopped moving past the on-off posts, but had the product number stamped on the back. The new timer was almost identical and a perfect fit. It took me about 10 minutes start to finish and is working normally.

We have installed twice in 9 months reference timmer, the last one just less than 2 month and is not working.Item was installed by a certified electrician. We will need request a factory credit for these product.

I replace these Intermatic timers periodically (about every year) in my hot tub. They usually bind and stop moving, so I took the last one apart that stopped (got stuck in the on position, risky if on vacation) and found the plastic gears had *ZERO* lubrication! Otherwise was in good condition. I used dielectric grease on the gears and WD-40 on the gear shafts (probably just WD-40 would be fine). Now the old one is working fine, put the new one (lubricated) on the shelf, but will last *much* longer now.

I took a gamble based on this timer to replace the broken timer in my outdoor power supply for malibu lights. (replacement timers not available for the outdoor power supplies) This timer was a perfect fit and works perfectly just like the original. There was one difference that I was aware of before ordering. You have to add spade terminals to the wires that have to be cut from the old timer (simple). Other wise it was plug and play.
