These leads have a great selection of colours and they fit in any of my mechanical pencils that take a 0.7 lead. The lead is quite soft so a heavy hand will cause a lot of breakage. I suggest keeping it retracted fairly short when writing or colouring, and not pressing too firmly. If I want more colour in an area I build it by adding layers of colour rather than pressing harder. These are great for colouring or drawing very fine detail. I find normal pencil crayons disappear quickly when you're always sharpening them to maintain a point, so these save a lot of wasted lead. I would order them again.

DO NOT BUY! These leads have the hardness of cheap oil pastels. To get writing dark enough to read breaks the lead instantly. I have tried 4 colors and not a single one could write the colors they are except red, which was only 3 letters. These are not possible to use. The pink one is evidently so frail it's in pieces in its container. Yellow couldn't even write the Y with 4 attempts.

These are so fun and I'm so glad I got them. They feel more like a colored pencil, but they can be written with or colored with. The colors look great and they fit my mechanical pencils just right. Really pleased with these!

Colors are not very rich but the lead breaks so easily you won't get to know about that! Will not buy again.

The ink is flexible and breaks while putting it in the pencils. I couldn't even write 3 letters without lead breaking none stop. Complete fail and waste of money.

I'm a teacher, and I usually use coloured pens to mark my students' work. However, I usually make the occasional mistake when marking, so since it is pen, I have to find some type of white-out to make corrections. I've since changed over to using these coloured pencils for my marking, and I love that they are fully erasable if necessary! The colours are nice and bright. There are 10 different colours and each colour has its own little container of 30 lead pieces in the 0.7 lead size for a total of 300 pieces of lead. I've tried these leads in a number of different lead pencils that I have, and as long as they take 0.7 size lead, they work well. Like all lead, they will break if you press down too hard or release too much lead at one time. I haven't had any issues with the refills and I really like them!

These work like coloring pencils, not like an HB pencil you would normally write with. The colors are good though, so for the purpose is coloring they work very well. I do recommend.
