It is the right size and shape. The closed handle takes a bit of getting used to (the original has an open handle) but it is no problem.

Unfortunately the handle and gasket came apart on mine causing the pot to drop and break. The company took immediate responsibility for it and offered to replace it as soon as one became available to ship to my area. I liked the pot, it fit great for my ninja coffee maker. My wife and I would’ve stuck with this company for another replacement if it was available sooner. Because it wasn’t the company offered an immediate refund instead. This is great customer service and I would recommend using them. I’m sure our pot was just a 1 off and the rest are of actual quality.

We got this because mt wife wanted a carafe that looked nice that she could use for parties. She likes to make various warm drinks and wanted to have something that was "presentable" to put it in that allowed for easy pouring. This fit the bill for us, and she said it looks great. It keeps her various drinks warm, and pours nice and easily. It doesn't feel lightweight, but doesn't feel heavy either, just a nice in between.

Didn't even get to use this once. When I grabbed it to brew my first pot it came loose from the top and shattered
