I used the 60-grit flap discs to remove the paint from my deck. The weather-protection paint was pretty thick, so traditional scraping, sanding, even pressure washing wasn't doing the job.. so I attached one of these flap discs to an angle grinder and got to work! They did a great job at removing the paint, but be mindful of the amount of pressure. Otherwise, you'll gouge/marr the surface of the deck boards. It was tedious work, but it got the job done. Definitely use these again next time.

These are very durable and very abrasive and will the material down very quickly. They don't burn even at high speeds and have a nice contour shape that helps you see what you are doing.

We use these all the time in our fabrication shop. This disc performed great. I took a very rusted piece of steel and it ate right thru it giving me a great finished surface. I know it was a very short test but the disc looked brand new at the end of it. No wear at all. No balance issues that I could feel. I like these and will be ordering again. I highly recommend this disc.
