These work fantastic. But if your wood is green and waterlogged your gonna have to shave the ends to fit. I actually brought 2 post indoors and placed near heat for a few days. Worked great..

These are really made well, easy to install and look great. The bolts that come with them are for concrete so I needed to get some lag bots for my deck. Most importantly, the 4x4’s (pressure treated) that I used needed to be sanded down a little to fit.

I recently used this 4x4 post base for a project, and I’m very pleased with its performance. The base is robust and well-made, providing excellent stability for my posts. Installation was straightforward, and it fits securely without any wobbling. The material feels durable and should hold up well over time. My only small critique is that the hardware could have been a larger gauge, we ended up buy lag bolts for the deck. Overall, it’s a reliable and sturdy option for supporting 4x4 posts.

The feet work but I used green treated wood ( so it’s swollen from moisture) and feet absolutely would not fit they where about a quarter inch to small so I had to cut them in half to use them. Even so my pergola is nice a strong anchored to the ground compared to the over priced Menards feet, which is what I replaced with these.

The post brackets were great. I changed out the bolts that were included for lag screws because of what they were going into. If only I knew about these when I built our first deck.

Product is supposed to be powder coated- if so why are they rusting 30 days after install ? Not impressed.

Anchor bolts for this product twist/break, in other words useless for actually "anchoring " a fence postI had to go to store to buy real anchor bolts to finish the jobI'd appreciate a total refund
