These are junk. These look like they're stamped metal like tiny washers. The sharp edges will break your tippet every time. Spend the money for quality rings that have rolled edges otherwise you'll be losing fish and flies all day long.

These are great tippet rings for my tenkara line rigs. The clip makes it easier to hold the ring as you tie it to your tippet or leader with a davy knot. with a 100 rings, I'll never run out when making new lengths of line of for my family on their tenkara rods.

These things are tiny! The idea of attaching a ring to the end of my leader to make for easy tippet changes sounded great (and still does.) But these rings are super small. On the plus side, my dears that they would sinkbthe line (and any dry fly with it) have been alloyed. But I question my ability to attach one of these in the field. I'll report back once I've had the chance to try them. If you've already used this type of device and they work for you, the price seems good ($14 for 100 rings) and the use of a snap swivel to hold them seems ingenious.

The product looks nice and is very conveniently packaged (stored on swivel clips), but it cuts fishing line. Iād say it drops knot strength by 50% when tied to 5x tippet, so every time I broke off I lost not only the fly but also the tippet. It has potential otherwise, but this issue is critical to a tippet ring.
