I like this front headlight for a bike, although it has some areas for improvement.Overall, the mounting is very solid, yet it's easy to remove (90 degree twist) for charging. Convenient. It's quite a bulky lamp though, much larger than anything else I own. Superior battery or not, it's size is something to consider. The power on/off button + mode cycling is quite confusing. As this can be paired with a remote. You need to long press to make it go on, double click will change between "manual mode" and "smart mode". Then single press to cycle the flashing modes. You have several brightness settings which is good, followed by several pulsing modes. Unfortunately there's not a real strobe. Pulsing, it's fine. I really prefer strobe and wish there was one.So overall, it's a nice rechargeable light. It's extremely bright. Works well. The option to mount above or below handlebars is really neat. Just wish it had strobe and a bit less heft to it.

This is a compact bright light with a good light spread. The housing is a solid metal and feels like it will last a long time. I love the attachment clamp and how solid it feels, yet unsnaps in a jiffy by twisting 90 degrees. It's very compact and can stow away nicely in a pocket or bag. I also like that the lens has a lot of little refraction angles that help spread the light out so you don't get a spotlight effect yet it illuminates the area in front of you well. It also has a rechargeable battery, which is new to me, and I'm excited about not needing to always replace batteries like I did on my old light. It apparently works with a camera mount, which I don't have so I can't speak to that. The instructions said that if you don't have a camera mount, then to swap the mount/clamp so it went over the handlebars instead of below, which is a good orientation for my scenario and was very easy to do. The included handlebar clamp is light but sturdy and installed without a fuss. I may go back and trim off the excess thread strap, but it's OK with it as is.The power button has several settings: Long press to turn on/off. Quick presses to cycle brightness between three levels. Double tap switches between strobe and solid light. Two strobe effects - a slower dim to bright cycle and a faster flashing.I'm excited to get riding now that weather is getting warmer and being able to light the road when it's getting darker will be very nice!

This bike headlight is a great pick for night rides. It’s bright enough to see far ahead, whether I’m on roads or trails, and the rechargeable battery keeps it going without fuss. Waterproof too, so rain hasn’t been an issue. Mounting it was easy, and it stays put no matter the bumps.Overall, I can easily recommend this light for anyone who needs a dependable beam for their bike rides both day and night.

ITEM REVIEWED : TOAGER 1000 Lumen Bike Light T1000, 4500mAh USB Type-C Rechargeable Bike Headlight____________________________________________________________________________________________The TOAGER 1000 Lumen Bike Light is built like a BRICK HOUSE. It is a SOLID little thing. Its casing is of sturdy metal. It puts out a very bright light (1000 lumens) and can be set for low, medium and bright settings (plus "breathing" and flash 'warning' modes). On the lower brightness settings the battery charge will last longer (as it's not using as much power as on high). It comes with fantastic mounting assembly to allow you to mount it on your handle bars. Or in the winter, as in my case, it mounts nicely onto my snow thrower - so I have light if I need to clear the driveway at night. In addition, the light part itself is also compatible with "GoPro" mounts providing even more mounting options. This thing is clearly very well built to last for a LONG time.IT IS A BIT PRICEY.... Originally I thought of reducing my rating by one star because of this, but in the end because of how well it's built (and it's internal high capacity battery) I'm leaving my rating at 5 STARS... so worth the price... like so many other top shelf things... you get what you pay for.____________________________________________________________________________________________* NOTE * - This product was provided to me FREE of charge as part of the Amazon Vine Review program without any conditions ... other than that I must submit a review within 30 days of receipt. So, I have multiple bikes and needed multiple lights, as well as lights for different applications. This light's case is of metal construction and the light has a solid well built feel in the hand. It also has a better than decent bar mounting system for simply mounting on the bars, and that allows for mounting above the bars or underneath. This bar mount is also of a design that requires no tools to install or remove, which I prefer over some of the others I have that require an Allen wrench. And it also includes the Go-Pro style mount that allows it to mount underneath a computer mount. The bar mount can be installed on the bars and left in place, while the light can be removed and installed to the mount with a simple twist. I find the twist lock mechanism to be positive and secure when the light is installed. I also really like the way the mount portion that attaches to the light itself is configurable so that the light can be ran right side up regardless of if it's mounted below, or above. Some other lights with both over or under mounting options will be inverted when mounted below, and this puts the button inconveniently on the bottom of the light, and makes the cut-off not work properly which means you're blinding people coming the opposite direction. While I cannot attest to the actual light output or that it is actually the 1000 lumens the manufacturer claims, I can way that I find the amount of light produced, as well as, and perhaps just importantly, the spread of the light to be very good. It has three brightness levels and I find them all to be useful, depending on the application and needs at the time, and to be appropriately "spaced". In addition to the three main ON beam settings, it has two "flashing" settings for conspicuity to others... One is more of a slow "breathing" rhythmical pattern, and the other is an asymmetric true flash. By "asymmetric" I mean it isn't s solid and evenly spaced flash pattern but more irregular in it's on/off intervals. I believe these irregular flashing patterns can be more attention grabbing to some individuals and make them "see" you better. As you can probably tell by how many times I've used the word "like" in the above, that I really like this light. In fact, I like it so much that after using this one a bit I ordered the 1600 lumen version. Not because I necessarily needed a brighter light as that the higher lumen version does have more battery capacity and therefore provide somewhat longer run times when used on the lower settings. Not, that I really need longer run times... but still... Well, it's really probably because I'm just sort of a bike gear nerd and like good stuff when I find it. So, after the first one (this one) was as good as it is, I decided to get the second one as a spare, for use on another bike, and well... Just because...If there is a negative, and for me it's not really a negative, but still something some may want to consider, it would be the size and weight. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not like this light is huge, or obscenely heavy or anything. In fact, it's pretty much the same as other higher output lights of this type that produce a lot of light, have a good size battery, a durable metal case, solid mounts, etc. But, not everyone needs a light of this type. If riding at night, or if you prize durability, and want a long lasting light for hours in the saddle in situation where you need a light, or even if you just want to use it on multiple shorter rides without needing to recharge it after each ride, then this light is a good one. If on the other hand, you want something compact, lightweight, with a less durable plastic case, and a shorter battery life, there are other options available for this need. In fact, I have lights of both types. But somehow, the lights like this end up on my bikes more often than the smaller lighter versions. You be the judge about your own priorities and needs. Just giving food for thought.I hope someone finds the review at least somewhat useful and helpful

This is a very sturdy-feeling headlight, with multiple brightness and blink options. It produces a very bright white light - potentially blindingly bright (don't use it on 2-way bike paths with oncoming cyclists or pedestrians!) - in a fairly diffuse beam. Visibility is good. I compared it side-by side with an 800-lumen bike light, and with an older 180-lumen nightrider light. The brightness and diffuse pattern were nearly identical between this one and the 800 I had, though the 800 is a bit of a warmer yellowish light. They were both brighter than the 180-lumen nightrider, but the nightrider produced a more focused beam with crisper cutoff (defined circle of light). Honestly, my ability to *see the road directly ahead" was similar across the three lights. I got this one partly in the hope of using the under-hanging go-pro style mount, but the attachment is so far forward that I can't easily aim the light with that, so I'm using the standard screw-on mount that cinches to almost any bar diameter. This works well, and the light is stable without any rattling sounds or movement on the bars.
