I have purchased 4 of these lights for electric bikes I've built and I have had no issues running them on 12v-72v. Others have said the brightness is dimmer on 12v but that has not been my experience. Same brightness on 12v-72v in my experience.

I recently decided to upgrade the lighting on my electric bike to improve visibility during night rides, and I must say, the Universal High Brightness LED Headlights exceeded my expectations.Firstly, the brightness of these headlights is impressive. They illuminate the road ahead with clarity, making nighttime riding much safer. Even in dimly lit areas, the light output is sufficient to spot obstacles well in advance. In terms of quality, I found these headlights to be quite decent. Despite being relatively affordable, they feel sturdy and well-built. The waterproof feature adds an extra layer of durability, ensuring they hold up well against the elements.Installation was a breeze. With no complicated wiring or mounting procedures, I had them up and running in no time. However, I do wish there were included instructions for those less familiar with bike modifications. As for longevity, only time will tell, but based on their solid construction and performance thus far, I'm optimistic that these headlights will last for many rides to come.In conclusion, if you're looking to enhance the lighting on your electric bike, the Universal High Brightness LED Headlights are definitely worth considering. They're bright, of decent quality, easy to install, and seem like they'll stand the test of time.

Brightness: at 9 or 12 volts it's not very bright but at 52 volts it is sufficiently bright and although it produces heat, it isn't so hot that anything is showing signs of damage. The cord: The cord was way too short to do anything useful with so the first thing I had to do was replace it with a cord that could reach my controller on my bike. The bracket: The metal bracket that is intended to mount the light gets really hot during operation and seems to serve more as a heat sink then a good place to mount the light. Since the middle bracket has no adjustment I could only install it at a less than ideal angle as the beam of light is too inclined.

This item is OK it’s extremely bright and does the job. The mounting hardware is a bit. Cincy once mounted the light did move on its own backplate would recommend for a low quality light, but not to be put on anything that you value.
