I have run a few short runs under 50' and 4 runs between 150' and 200' and the cable does work, but if you so much as think about kinking it, a wire is going to break inside somewhere. 2 of my long runs required rearranging the wiring order to get POE working (over one wire per polarity...) and I've abandonded and rerun 2 of the short runs.

Pulled 280 feet to my camera and one conductor of 2 of the pairs is an open circuit. Cable was handled carefully and has no exterior damage- I've pulled tens of thousands of feet of CATx cable over the years. Very thin conductors. Note- this only has a single outer jacket. Any good "direct bury" CAT5 or higher has double outer jackets. This stuff is cheap garbage. Proceed at your own risk. Now I have to buy REAL cable and replace this. Going with copper this time and not copper-clad crapola.

Installed 8 cameras in a house took 10 hours. Line test on each cable was good. Only 3 POE cameras came up. Wasted 10 hours of paid time. Had to rerun the cable I usually use. Do not buy this cable. It is rated for the cameras I installed and this cable became a real nightmare. My customer is not happy they took a day off work for this install only to have to take another day off work so I can reinstall 1000 feet of new cable. Buy better cable!!!

When I got it I felt it and decided it was just cheap cable but I needed it for a project that requires shielded cable. I got to a point where I had to cut it and strip it and was shocked. The coating is tough as nails and the shielding was pretty nice really. To say the least I was surprised. It is my new outdoor cable and I've been running Cat 6 cable for the last month so not a bad deal. The packaging is a bit rough gets stuck alot but for the price I will buy it again.
