The VEVITTS 1000ml Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plate is a good basic laboratory hot plate with magnetic stir feature. It also has an adjustable boom for securely holding items such as a thermometer in the vessel being heated and stirred. The unit is metal with rubber feet and a stainless steel hot plate. There is a power switch, a heating switch, a temperature control knob, and a speed control knob. (This knob adjusts the speed of the magnetic stirrer to achieve the desired level of mixing.)The VEVITTS hot plate can be used to heat samples and solutions to specific temperatures for various experiments and procedures. It can heat up to 100 Celsius / 212 Fahrenheit. When using the hot plate, it’s important to follow lab safety precautions. This hot plate is not a toy, and can cause burns and electrical shock if misused. Not for use with flammable chemicals. Comes with instructions, power cord, stirrer bar, thermometer holder, and a spare fuse. You will have to supply your own glass beakers.

Great tool to have, I’m able to mix flower oils easily with other products. Heat control is a great function. Well made product
