This SFP+ module works great and I can get 10Gps connection through the RJ45 cable rated for 10Gbps. Only problem I had was that the retention mechanism got stuck. The hinge in front pushes a metal back plate piece that got stuck on mine and so the module couldn't be removed. Not sure if this is a combination of my unit and the mechanism but other modules slides out effortlessly and I can't get the metal plate on the back to budge without bending it. Anyways, I wasn't planning to remove the module so it's OK for now this way.

The pictured item offered for sale clearly shows two devices along side the retail packaging but only one device is shipped for the price stated. I thought I was purchasing two devices not the one received.

Need to be able to use standard cat cables (RJ45) and connect to my SFP port. Plug and play! No issues.
