Dust covers work great to keep dust and other particles out of the ports.

This works perfectly for QSFP ports. I do with it was a little softer silicoln rather than PVC. Although, QSFP ports don't have parts to damage near the outer connector so, not a big deal.

I bought these to cover the SFP+ ports of my devices. I have used it in multiple Mikrotik devices and a Juniper switch. Works like a charm.

Excellent quality. No smudging. Soft, but firm rubber. Fit RJ-45 ports snugly.I have these installed in switches in a vertical orientation. They are excellent for their primary intended purpose - keeping dust out of your equipment ports - and they also work well even upside down (they don't fall out).

Not all the QSFP (QSFP28) ports get used on our ethernet switches. We wanted to keep dust out of the extra ports.The product site unfortunately uses the same SFP port cover dimensions but these *will* fit the 6x18mm size of the QSFP ports.

It was easy to get a hard-to-find product with this company. Dust covers for RF45 ports were lost in the assembly process and the end customer had to have them. Problem solved with these high quality, easy to handle dust covers.
