What is a Carpet Tack Strip?
Carpet tack strips are narrow lengths of wood, that are used to keep the wall-to-wall carpet in place. They're studded with lots, are installed along the perimeter of the walls, tack-side up. it also can be used in other place. for example: tufting frame. furniture ect.
How to use it
Carpet tack strips can be installed on any type of substrate, whether a wood or concrete subfloor. Install the tack strips with the tacks angled toward the wall, the innner side (tufting frame).

Nail spacing is terrible and not consistent. Look somewhere else if you are getting this for a tufting frame. Waste of $20 (going into trash)
