I guessed, and got it wrong. So, they're in my parts box now.I mostly prefer plate casters when I have a design-choice, except for office chairs that pretty much have to use stem mounts. Stem mount casters almost always are moderate-duty at best. And, the solidness of the mounting sockets is key. I haven't found an application for these sockets yet, where they'd fit perfectly *and* the stem mount casters available to me would be heavy enough duty.
