This 10 piece drill bit kit is good quality. They work well and are easy to use. The set is a good value. Overall a good product.

First off, the thing I noticed before opening the container is that the tools have what I thought were plastic caps in them that started to fall apart. Once I opened the container I realized it was wax. The wax is supposed to help prolong the life of the bit by lubricating it, but I also feel like it is limiting the bit from biting in preventing an easy start at 45°. Using the pilot bit seems to work far better then using these to just grind it smooth afterwards. I tested by drilling into ABS plastic.

These are practical for the average homeowner who occasionally gets an idea to drill a hole in a piece of ceramic or tile. Keep the bits wet and it helps keep down the wear and tear.

My wife always wants to add holes in the terracotta pots that she gets for drainage and these has got to be the best drill bits for the job as they do not chip or shatter the pots at all. The hole is very smooth like if it was made at the factory. Ones you get these, you do need to practice a little bit on some scrap first as it does take a little bit of a learning curve on how to properly use these diamond drill bits. Once you learn how to properly use these the holes it makes are super smooth and precise.

I've never drilled into ceramics so this is a review from a complete amateur. There was diamond dust in the case itself. The photo I took of the case was after I had already used one of the bits. I wanted to make some planters out of old dishes, so I started with the smallest ugliest cup to practice, and it was not easy. I did use a 1200 RMP drill instead of the recommended 1600 RPM+. However they cite this so that the drill bit lasts, and I'm going to be using these sporadically I would imagine, so I didn't see this as a big deal. The drill moves around. I was able to make the holes but one of them was way off the place I wanted it. The other side of the cup had the paint come off. I don't know if this is normal. Obviously for the planters this is totally fine. This area won't be visible. The drill bit itself looks quite beat up after using it for two holes.

Good diamond bits if you don't over use them. Drilling a lot of holes in tile will wear them out . these bits are very economical and should serve a home owner just fine. If you keep them wet when cutting they will last longer. Tdhey run straight and there is no wobble. The index case is nice. It is clear so you know what is in it.
