There seems to be no quality control. You can actually see in the pictures where they show their reeds. The cut is not symmetrical. Look at unfiled bottom as well as the tip of the reed and it is easy to see how some of the reeds lack symmetry. I observed the same when I tried their reed on the mouthpiece. They are not expensive and in the actual box of 10 I received there might be 1 or 2 that may work.

These reeds gave me splinters not to mention the bad sound. Even with the lower cost it was not worth it

Was looking to buy a box of reeds and stumbled upon these.They are great quality, well packaged, and play quite nicely.They are 2.5's, which is a little less than what I typically use, but they still play nice.The sound is good, they are not warped or chipped, and fit my mouthpiece as expected.Recommend these for anyone who plays soprano and needs some quality reeds at a reasonable price.5 Star!

Yes, I'm a Beginner/ Early Intermediate player and struggle to find suitable reed/Mouthpiece combinations that work well. I use Lade #3 Soprano reeds with my Vandoren SL4 Mouthpiece on my Cannonball Vintage Soprano Sax and get a deep, solid tone. My rule of thumb - since most of us will purchase an enormous amount of reeds in search of "our sound" - is if the reed doesn't perform as desired at first, put the reeds into storage until you want to venture out again and try them on a different Mouthpiece! You'll be surprised. NOTE: the box says to NOT get the reeds wet. Not sure how to interpret that since I've always been instructed to soak my reeds before practicing. I did put these on straight out of the box without soaking and they performed good In my opinion. Suggest trying soaked and fmsry to see what you like.

These fit perfect on soprano saxophone my neighbor had. They work great and feel like great quality.
