These are nice Miranda cards, and very useful since they include Spanish as well. The metal is a little bit thinner than I'd like, but they should hold up just fine. I passed some out to my new officers, and they like them.

Every few years I normally get a new one of these cards last few were plastic like an ID card but faded easily also most of them I got 1 for where I got 5 of these. Though they aren't super thick they aren't flimsy and I like they come in a protective sleeve though I probably will get it laminated just because of the nasty stuff we potentially come into. Though I do want to have a friend who speaks Spanish make sure the translation is correct.Every Dept has their own SOP/SOG's so make sure you follow them!! That being said I had an FTO back many many yrs ago one of the lessons he taught me is to one make sure the card has the correct information but to read from the card for every arrest & I have actually been asked in court if I read them their rights and pull out my card & I feel like anything in this job you need to CYA also cheat sheets help though I know it by heart like General Orders in the Military you can show proof of what you read or incases with language barriers though I am not going to ask questions I usually hold the card up so they can read it. Even if I am not going to question anyone minute bracelets go on they are read their rights again goes back to CYA and pattern of how I do thingsThis would be a great gift for any Peace Officer or LEO also occasionally I will make up things either during the holidays or different weeks like our shift will send a fruit basket to the ER Nurses during Nurses week as we appreciate them for what they do and I also will give out thing like this and say a GC to Dunkins to LEO's in the town I live in as I work in a different area.So I highly recommend them either for yourself like usually when I replace a card if in readable condition I will keep backups its like cuff keys, cuffs, gloves you usually can't find them when needed or you run into another LEO that doesn't have one so I rather buy and give out cheaper ones vs expensive ones(also if they get spoodge on them though I Don't want to toss $3 but a $3 card is better than tossing a more expensive one). Also there are members of the public that doesn't realize their are LEO's like Reserves that have to pay for almost everything out of pocket so though it might not seem like a big deal but it all adds up.
