Looks good and has been durable. It does seem a little noisy when inside or close to you but as I crawl up the rocks the noise isn't an issue. Very strong although the slipper seems weak. I've tightened it all the way down and it still slips so I'll be looking into an eliminator for it. Fit my scx10i perfectly and the motor I run doesn't allow for the cover but the alloy construction is super nice and the metal gears are a great upgrade. Will buy another for my other scx10ii

The bearings are loose in the bores to the gears mesh terribly and it makes a ton of noise. Fir where the stock trans fits that the only positive.

I went ahead and opened this up, I was very surprised to see the machining on the gears and the fit and finish on the inside. This is actually a surprisingly well built item. It wouldn't be surprised if it was made in the same factory cuz some of the higher end RC car parts.

I put this into my SXC10 upgrade project and found it to be excellent and exceptionally well crafted. The transmission is very smooth and very quiet. Don’t pay attention to poor reviews as these must be trying to run it on 6s or something. It’s a very nice crawler transmission that has an excellent price. I’d put this up against a hot racing unit any time it is that good. Update, it is performing perfectly with my new hobby wing brushless motor. It’s been run hard with zero issues. I still strongly recommend this piece.

I put this in my Axial SCX10 II and was happy to see it pretty much bolted right up with a quick change of the stock skid plate my kit came with and some resizing of the drive shafts. The whole thing is very sturdy. But after I got it greased and bolted up I was dissappointed to find that it is actually louder then the stock axial SCX10II transmission, I'd probably attribute that to the sturdier design and steel gearing. For most people I feel noise wouldnt be a problem but I take my rig hiking and the whir of a gearbox can be annoying after a couple hours. So overall its a great product, I just wish it was quieter.

I am using this transmission in my custom buikd 1/6 hasbro jeep- 2nd test run today and the transmission is slipping ? Idk why. But the transmission was working great and then all of the sudden i can hear the gears turning when i apply throttle but its not moving - im guessing its the slipper clutch?? Can anyone help ? How do I adjust the slipper clutch ? It is a very good quality transmission but idk what to do here .
