First gear Doesn’t work

It came locked up. Rebuilt the transmission at least 10 times. The 2 speed does not work it won't let the shifting fork move. And the transmission has extremely high resistance to the point where the motor torq is barely enough to move it after the rebuilds!

I was looking for a motor after stripping out low on my fcx24 Unimog with a motor upgrade. Discovered that the FMS gears are hit and miss, and the treal gears are out of stock currently.After doing a bit of searching I found that many were able to buy these all metal transmissions and shim the output shaft a bit with M3 washers, plus this was prime.I decided to install it as-is before shimming and it worked well initially after adjusting shift servo endpoints. Neutral is hit or miss, but that's not the end of the world.Will update after shimming with M3 washers. But for now it does work out of the box, albeit a tad bit noisy.

Have not installed yet. Hopefully it's good. Seems there's bad and good reviews, so for twenty bucks thought I'd give it a shot. Paid 20.00 just for a gear set for another.

The main shaft the drive shafts attach to is too loose and so is the shifting rod for the 2 speed, and there isn't any gear grease. They say they tested this product but I'm not impressed. Better stick with buying the FMS transmission metal gear set or Treal transmission gear set.

Very cheaply manufactured gearbox, the main drive shaft is as loose as the shift fork, already experiencing very bad slippage in low gear. Low gear is unusable but I’m using this in a monster truck thankfully and high gear does still work. Will update once it stops functioning as well. I am going to try the fms metal gears in here but I don’t have much hope to be honest. Spend a bit more and get something better unless you want to deal with annoying defects in manufacturing.
