Bildge hoses are an important part of boat safety. When NOT working properly and break due to the inferior materials used in the construction it can be COSTLY, broke the first use in the water. Spent 2 hrs removeing floor boards and installing this hose. The clamps are just as worthless; their construction and faulty function. Should have known how flimsy hose felt but obviously much more effort was placed on making it "look like" real bildge hose. I also should have done a simple pull test on the hose. I did after it came apart in the boat and it pulled apart with hardly any force. This product is garbage for real use applications and is a definite safety concern for your boat, yourself and your family. Again, IT IS ONLY MADE, DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO LOOK LIKE A REAL BILDGE HOSE.

The hose will only fit the included 3/4" through hull fitting (1/2") inside opening. The O.D. of the hose is 7/8" and will not come close to fitting over the smallest boat sump pump.
