Game changer for my Mr Heater buddy. Screw 1lb tanks. This hose is great good quality and hasn't leaked or anything. I did but the filter separate local and highly recommend you get one clogged heater sucks especially when it's 13°out at 2 am got a tank gauge as well. Made life simpler length and being stainless was. My deciding factor and I'm not disappointed at all. Great product and great value for the money it will save on 1 pound tanks

My little propane generator came with a really short hose. This gives me the length I need and is very well constructed. Normally I would add a point because they were nice enough to include a small roll of teflon tape. But in this case I subtracted a point. Air and water fittings with NPT threads use teflon tape because they seal on the threads. Propane fittings do NOT seal on the threads. If your hose is leaking and you manage to get it to stop with teflon tape you are creating a dangerous situation. The tape will eventually start leaking, probably when you aren't around to know it. The makers of this fitting KNOW how it works. Did they add the teflon tape because they had problems with their fittings? In any case, including teflon tape suggests to the end user to use their product improperly and potentially dangerously.

This hose worked great to connect my 20 lb propane tank to my big buddy heater.(https://www.amazon.com/Heater-Big-Buddy-Portable-Propane). I live in western NC and had 9 days electric outage this heater & the ordered hose kept me warm. I put a carbon monoxide detector nearby as this was the 1st time I’ve ever done this

I was very disappointed. Brand new right out of the bag it leaked. It was leaking propane where the hose is crimped onto the acme nut. I had to return it. It’s garbage and dangerous.
