Very heavy duty chain. This is the same caliber chain we use on the oil pads I work on to pull 80,000lb 18 wheelers out of the mud with bulldozers. In fact, it's a bit higher grade than what we use. We usually have 1/2 or bigger, but lower grade than what this is. I also noticed it's lighter compared to same size chain of lower grade.
