These clamps while good in design they won't go small enough to clamp the units together.

I bought a set of 4 of the longer 380mm ones, but I probably could have used the shorter ones, as well. Once you have the containers close enough, and relatively well lined up, you open them up, slip the hook ends into the container corners, tighten loosely by hand, then I used only a 10" crescent wrench and was amazed to see the bolts draw the containers in close and tight to within a 1/4" or less of one another. See photo. There's snow on them, but you get the idea.
