I am very pleased with how well these hooks are manufactured! I welded one of these on either side of my large skid loader bucket. I already have one hook positioned in the middle and wanted more versatility when hooking on and moving heavy loads. These are very heavy duty, so because my bucket is also very thick steel, I needed to attach these with my stick welder to assure good penetration and a reliable weld. Since they have been on my bucket, I'ved used them several times with a couple of lifting straps that I also ordered from Amazon. These have really added more options so I can use my skid loader for more picks than ever. Recommend these highly!

Most small tractors don't come with hooks by default. If you're like me, you either wrap a chain around the bucket and risk having the chain slip, or you just slip a chain hook onto any available bucket edge which often bends the bucket. These hooks add a lot of safety to chain lifts, as long as they are properly welded. Select a suitable location on the bucket where the metal won't rip, sand the paint, grind the welding surface of these hooks, and lay down a few good beads. These hooks are strong with good welds. They are also gapped correctly for 3/8" chain, meaning you can get the chain in/out of the hook without much effort.

Hooks seem to be fine; they show signs of forging so they probably actually are. There is no load limit stamped on the hooks, so I'd only recommend them for light/medium duty applications where you're using them well under the advertised load.

These are good quality and ready to be welded on a bucket or other piece of equipment. You get four in the pack, making this a good way to buy them for use around the farm.
