I just got these today and put them right to the test. I think there may be specialized tools to attach these, but I just used some lineman's pliers and had no issues. Chanel lock pliers might work even better because of the wider grip. This is a package of four rope clips. They are designed for 1/4 inch rope. They will clamp down your rope Loop and hold it in place nicely. These clamps are strong and well made. They are excellent quality!
