- These are matte black overlay hinges not inset hinges. There is a big difference so please know what you are buying.

Priced at local known hardware store for way too much! Hopped on here knowing there would be a better price (especially needing 20) and was not disappointed. Quality is good. They worked perfectly. Would definitely buy them again.

After searching many similar hinges, these were the only ones with the hole pattern that matched the hole pattern left by my old cabinet door hinges in nickel with a 1/2" overlay. Moreover, they were reasonably priced.

The hinges themselves are good quality, however, they do not provide the correct amount of screws per pack. They over provide the longer screws that go into the cabinets but under provide the smaller screws that go into the doors. We made it work but it was frustrating to open all of the packs in order to get the amount of screws we needed. I ended up doing 2 per door instead of 3 to make it work.

Dumb and Dumberer (me) installed a new cabinet door for an A/C condenser that goes through the wall in my condo. My fault that I didn't order the correct hinges. The oak wood was 1/2" thick. Actually needed surface mount, the finished doors are raised 1/2" off the frame. Since I have the room, will be installing a 1/4" acrylic board underneath to further weatherproof (and bug proof) the installation.The handyman I hired and I were looking at these hinges like a Rubik's cube. A couple more pictures of a finished installation would have been helpful. It was only after re-cutting, re-staining and installing the doors that the gap underneath was noticed. The condenser is flush with the front of the frame, so there was no access to mount the hinges inside (at the center and bottom).The hinges look nice, they are sturdy and hold the oak doors. The hardware sent with the product was decent.The moral of the story is: don't send a retired electrician to do a carpenter's job.
