These file folders are a great way to keep organized. Their colorful design brings a sense of fun and life to an otherwise boring task.Although the cabinet I had designated these folders for was not tall enough to use the tabs, I really like the versatility these files have to offer. They feature an 'expandable' design, so you can use them for just a few documents or really put their durability to the test with a larger stack. At the moment, I have one folder with quite a bit of items currently and it has held up very well to my surprise.At the time of this review, the set of 12 folders is priced at $16.99, which is a bit on the higher side compared to similar products that are either more affordable or include more folders for a similar cost.That said, I still think they’re worth the price.

These letter sized hanging file folders come in a pack with 12 different colors. I have never seen so many different colors of hanging folders. It makes it perfect for color coding my files. I also like that these hanging folders can expand to one inch, which allows me to put more papers and files in each folder than most hanging folders. The material of these folders feels sturdy and durable. This set also comes with plastic tabs and labels to easily label each folder.

Colorful, Sturdy, and Perfect for Organization!The 12 bright colors make it super easy to color-code my documents, which has helped me stay much more organized. They fit perfectly in my filing cabinet, and the adjustable 1/5-cut tabs allow for clear labeling and easy access. The material is sturdy, and they hold up well even with bulky files and medical charts.Overall, this set is a fantastic value for the price! If you’re looking for quality, durability, and organization, I highly recommend these file folders.

As a teacher, one never has enough file hangers! This 12-pack of paper folders feel pretty “regular” to me. What makes them better than most though, is that the metal hanger is securely enveloped within the folder. With this assembly, the hanger cannot shift allowing for fewer chances of the files falling to the bottom of the cabinet. Another plus is that the bottom of the folders can be creased along fold lines to provide a wider opening at the bottom. This allows for the papers to be distributed more evenly within the folder. But to say that they “expand” is not exactly accurate. Having one package with an assortment of colors is what I appreciate most about this product. Color-coding almost everything (red = reading, blue = field trips/fund raisers, etc.), I usually end up buying many different packages with each having just one color. Not anymore. Unfortunately, the tabs and inserts were not included. Thankfully, those seem to multiply in my desk. Overall, these colorful folders have helped to organize my file cabinet a bit better than “normal” opening folders.Note: As a Vine Voice, it is my intention to help sellers improve their product while highlighting the features of it. This is a set of 12 hanging file folder organizers with clear plastic indexing tabs and labels to put into them.I like that the folder organizers are 12 different colors for organizing. I consider them to be medium-plus stock thickness. They are nicely thick and feel durable. They are much thicker than paper, but I do have another set that is somewhat thicker so I call these medium-plus.They hold 8.5 x 11 letter-sized paper or loose file folders. Note that the listing header says letter size: "12 Pack Hanging File Folders, Letter Size with 1/5-Cut Adjustable Tabs" but further down in the item details it says legal size: "value pack of legal size hanging file folders, which perfectly fits in legal-size file cabinet drawers". So I'd like to clarify because that inconsistency could confuse shoppers - these are letter sized! In my photos, I show a piece of 8.5 x 11 printer paper in the orange folder, and a stack of the same paper in the green folder. I did not downgrade my rating because of this inconsistency because my rating is about the product itself. Clarifying that the product is letter-sized.There are 2 particular things about the functionality that I like. One is the expansion design. In my photos I show a close up of the yellow folder and the guiding lines for folding out the expansion width are visible. I folded and expanded the green folder, but did not expand the orange folder - one of the photos shows them together for a comparison. The other thing that I really like is that the metal hook rods are affixed to the inside of the folder so they cannot slide side to side. They are fixed in place and don't move.

I'm extremely happy with the quality and value of these thick cardstock letter-size hanging file folders. They are well-constructed of high-quality materials with a number of convenient features, and I would highly recommend them.The folders are strong, I'm not worried about the cardstock tearing or the little metal hangers coming off. The cardstock is folded in the center but has multiple scores on the bottom to accommodate increasingly thicker contents up to 1 inch. They come with plastic tabs 1/5 the length of the folders that can be attached an infinite number of times in any of the 9 different positions along the top, as well as perforated label strips that you can write on (but I'm not sure how they're meant to be printable like the listing suggests). The 12 colors all look distinct to me, but there are about 3-5 that will look similar with red-green colorblindness. I would say 8 of them are brightly colored, two muted, and two neutral.
