Many people like to shop for products made in their own country. If you’re like that and looking for American-made products, I hope this info helps! Amazon doesn’t make it easy to find the country of origin, so I contacted the company (“TOPS products” makes Pendaflex) to verify.Great product - exactly what I was looking for. The hanging folders are sturdy and help my filing cabinet look neat and organized.

Love Pendaflex but if these don't have a 'full load' of papers (etc), one side will rise up preventing ease of closing file drawer.

I have bought Pendaflex hanging file folders for more than 36 years. Professionally and for my home. They are better. If you buy cheap, you get cheap. Simple. Pendaflex is better quality in every aspect of construction and yes, it makes a difference in how they glide on the file cabinet rails and how well they withstand weight and a little abuse. Spend the extra money and you won't have to replace your hanging folders.

The Pendaflex extra capacity files are very helpful if you have a lot of paperwork that needs to go in one file. They have about a 2 inch bottom which leaves plenty of room for all your paperwork. I love them.

Solid reinforced folder as described. They expand pretty wide. More expensive than Competitor. These did not fit my plastic square hanging file store bix (Kis; blue lud from CTC) ... they wete about 1/4 inch too deep once you put paper in folder - plastic tab/label gets crushed. Switched to Amazon Basics which worked like a charm using same containers.

Pendaflex folders are the best - especially since they come with the Pendaflex TAB HOLDERS, which are more rigid than most and are tilted back, so you can read them from above. I love the colors, too - they help me organize my filing cabinet, and they're just plain pleasing to the eye.For those who don't already use them: box-bottom folders are valuable for organizing files. Example: for filing utility bills, put the bills for each utility into one manila folder, then put all of those folders into a box-bottom folder. When accessing the folders, pull the entire manila folder out, get what you want (or put in the latest), then put the manila folder back.
