I have had some other folders similar to this and find these considerably better! Assembly is easy: Just take a piece of cardboard (supplied) and slide it into the tabs at the bottom so the bottom expands fully. The metal rods seem to be holding up fine with the weight of a large number of files. Having them sit at a uniform height and not rising due to being squeezed makes it easier to remove and return the items to the folder - in my case, I am using manila folders in the hanging folders. In some folders, I do not use the manila folders if there are not that many items, but then I may need to remove the entire hanging folder when retrieving items, so I generally only do so when I recognize it is highly unlikely that I will need to remove items (serving primarily for record keeping only, not for referring to in the future).I do like these folders, it makes the entire drawer look so much better!

These are pretty much your standard hanging file folders. They are about the same thickness and sturdiness of the existing file folders I have been using for over 20 years. Most of those folders have been going strong, but a few, which I have overfilled, have become worn and are starting to tear. I decided to order these for the ones that need replacing. The main difference between these and my old folders is that these come with a strip of thin cardboard to place in the expansion area to help keep the folder expanded. You wouldn't think than thin little strip of paper would be that effective, but it actually does work. The folders come in a nice variety of soft, pastel colors and also come with plastic tabs and blank labels. Overall, I think these file folders are a decent value and I am pleased with the product.

These colors are a great pastel variety but there are a few that are very close. I love that the hang folders can be converted to a deep 2 inch folder if you need to. The brown piece in my pictures show that thickness of the bottom when made that 2 inch folder. Tons of functionality! The biggest thing I enjoy though is that these are thick durable folders! They have a nice protective coating on all the edges/folds that could break easily. They’re definitely made for the long run! Definitely worth the money!

Great folders! Colors are as shown on the pictures and they feel good in hand. They're definitely not one of those cheap paper knock-offs. Fit perfectly in my square folder box.

These light pins with white labels and white sturdy metal hooks (to hang in the file cabinet) arrived almost instantaneously after I ordered them.They were carefully packaged in a box and placed inside a bigger Amazon box. They arrived in absolutely perfect condition.There are so many great things to say about these folders. I ordered the 2" expandable version, and they offer a lot of expansion. They can hold up to 250 sheets.I love that they are sturdy enough to hold a lot of papers and documents. You can also order these with the 1" expansion or no expansion option.They also have the 1/5 cut adjustable tabs across the top of the file folders, and there are 24 in a box, which is very nice. You can decide how you want to organize your files based on how you arrange the tabs on the tops of the folders. It helps with organization.I am so tired of the drab green folders. These light pink ones are pretty, fun, a breath of fresh air, and very functional, which I need. I have lots of files and filing cabinets that need updating.These top-quality file folders can be used in packing boxes, in a stand-alone frame, in large or small file cabinets, or in any setting you desire.They offer the traditional green and gray folders, but besides the pink, they have assorted pastel colors. I ordered some of those as well.They arrive with blank plastic label holders that tuck into the top of the file folders and sturdy manila paper to insert into the file label holders. These 8 1/2" by 11" letter-sized folders have been carefully thought out and manufactured for durability.The description on the Amazon website matches what shows up. Sometimes, that isn't the case with some products, but not with this manufacturer. They were very clear about what to expect. I appreciate that very much.The price is very fair for what you get. I was delighted with everything about this purchase. I give this product 5+ stars. I can't say enough good about these folders.

The size is standard. It comes with labels and holders. The cost is less than a dollar a piece. I wish I could find the same quality and spend less than this.

These are great, sturdy file folders. They fold out to hold up to 2 in. thick, but I did not stop and think that when they weren't folded out to 2 in. that they would hang lower. So consequently, when they're not fully loaded they touch the bottom and the hangers are above the rack on the box. So I have to fold them up and take up that space even when they aren't full. And you can only fit a few folders in my box because of how much space the bottoms take up. I'm going to have to rearrange everything to make it work but that's on me. The folders themselves are very durable, with a plastic finish on the stressed folded parts. The finish is somewhat water repellent as I already splashed some liquid on them and was able to easily wipe it off. Inserts to change where you can place the taps. Overall a very great item but a tad pricey
