Good luck trying to find the quantity and quality that this set provides at a big box store. It ain't going to happen, plus you'll spend time, gas, and wear and tear on your car trying. So, save yourself the time and headaches and keep lots of stainless on hand for when you need them.

I like that these are stainless and come in a nifty little box. They even threw in a nut driver. There is a run-of-the-mill quality here that makes the set ordinary. Tolerances are a bit loose, machine work is okay. The 1/2" head doesn't snug in my sockets and wrenches the way I would like. That said, everything fits well enough. I would use the bolts and nuts in this set without hesitation-- for the projects I encounter anyway.

I did a wet test with these and none of the parts rusted. The little plastic box they come in is more useful than the bit, which is so shallow it's only useful for the first 1/4" of the bolt. After that, you'll need a different tool to tighten them the rest of the way.Bit would've been useful if it was instead a deep socket, 1/4" drive. As it is, hardly anyone is really going to need it, it's kind of a waste of money to manufacture, pack, and ship the extra weight.

First, I'm not a typical high rater; for 5-stars do something that knocks my socks off. Hard to do with bolts. 4-stars means GOOD.I've been getting my bolts from big box blue, but they haven't carried the FULL thread versions for some time now. I need full threads, not half.Got these. For the price, cheaper than big box blue AND they are supposedly stainless steel which is even better. I can't judge the material as stainless steel, so I'll have to believe them; they do look like the real thing.The order and shipment were no problem.The bolts are the correct counts and sizes as listed. They came in individual bags; no problems with the packaging.It came with a hex driver which is a plus; I guess I could give them 5-stars based on that!Over all, GOOD hex bolts with washers and nuts!

In my garage there always seems to be a hardware shortage.I picked these up to add to my collection. The 1/4 20 size is very common, and I use a lot of them.They are made from stainless steel, and the threads are smooth.You will receive 12 each of bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts.It also has a bit driver included.I can recommend this product.

Space is at a premium in my converted garage woodshop and therefore I have been making mobile carts for my bigger wood working machines. I recently made a router sled or flattening jig and mounted it to a 3/4" MDF board. I needed a way to store it when not using it so I made it mount to the cart that holds my Jet drum sander. I used some 5/16" threaded insert nuts and ran a 2 1/2" bolt through the MDF into the cart. This held, but only by a few threads and I did not feel it was secure enough. So along came these 3" 5/16 bolts and they were long enough to secure it with more threads. Now I am confident rolling around my cart with the flattening board attached to it without worry of it falling off.This kit comes in a plastic storage case with the same number of washers and nuts to complete a set. It also came with the nut driver to use with the bolts. All the threads were cut clean, and I did not need to clean any threads up with a tap or die. There is some magnetism from the components of this kit, so not 100% regarding the "stainless steel" aspect, but I am not too worried about it as I am not planning for the bolts to be out in the elements anyway.Very nice set and I would order from this company again.....

missing parts, did not have nuts and washers in package. advertised as being set with nuts and washers. sent first package back for replacement. second delivered package had same problem. perhaps the problem is false advertisement
