This pump has been a game-changer for tackling water removal tasks around my property. I initially bought it to drain my swimming pool for the winter, and it exceeded my expectations. The pump is surprisingly powerful for its size, moving water quickly and efficiently. The 6-foot suction hose and strainer attachment made setup a breeze, and I appreciated the included impeller replacement kit, though I haven't needed it yet.The pump's portability is a huge plus. It’s lightweight and the carry handle makes it easy to move from my pool to the basement, where I used it to clear out some standing water after a heavy rain. The powder-coated carbon steel construction feels sturdy and I’m confident it’ll hold up well over time, even with outdoor use.One minor quibble is the instruction manual could be a bit more detailed, especially for first-time users. I had to figure out the initial priming process (filling the pump head with water) through a quick online search, but once I got the hang of it, the pump worked flawlessly.Overall, this pump is a versatile and reliable tool. Whether you're dealing with pool maintenance, basement flooding, or garden irrigation, it gets the job done efficiently.

I got this pump to pump water out of my boat that is stored outside. It works great! This pump is small, portable, and lightweight; it's got a handle built in so you can carry it in one hand and a 12V battery in the other. It came with a 3ft hose, which I put in the boat in the water, and the other end connects up to a standard garden hose. This pump clips onto the battery terminals, and then it's got an actual on-and-off switch. I flipped it on, and it self primed and started moving water out of the boat like magic! It was able to fill a garden hose easily, and it's much faster than siphoning the water out. The water flow direction is clearly marked on the face of this pump; it's etched in the metal, so it's not going to fade or rub off. The simplicity of this pump is fantastic.

This pumped our septic very well when the drain field was frozen. We paid &90 for the pump instead of &200 for a septic pump.

As a plumber these pumps are so valuable to me I can use them in so many different ways. I also like to keep them at my own house for cleaning my tankless water heater. These little pumps are incredible and to me everyone with a basement should have one of these laying around just in case. With the water hose outlet or 1 1/2 it's versatile.
