High quality reflectivity. 1 1/4 inch eyepiece fit in it and it has a compression ring. I can't tell about the .965 fit as it is for a friend who I gifted my old Tasco telescope to years ago. I was surprised about the considerable size difference between 1 1/4 and .965 as it doesn't sound like a lot.
