This is simple, easy to use and very clean in design. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up voice clearly without being muddled. Battery life is exceptional and built-in memory is sufficient for a large amount of recording. The only con I have is that to set voice activated recording, you have to connect this to a PC and modify a text file on the device.

I got this for the occasional work conversation I needed to refer back to (check your local laws for legality of single vs. two party consent).The magnet wasn't really strong enough to hold the recorder up, but to be fair that's because the recorder itself is nice and sturdy. It really only has a slider switch between "play" and "record" with a volume rocker as well. I was able to easily hook this up to my computer and copy over the WAV files it creates. It's not a super-accurate mic, but good enough to figure out what was going on.

I like everything about its build quality and size but they put the microphone on the same side as the magnet so if you stick it to anything it muffles the audio you’re trying to record…how someone didn’t realize this flaw before offering it for sale is pretty amazing. 😂
