It would be nice if the unit came with the cord attached, because it is really, really difficult to attach. It's a design flaw where the manufacturer's have no regard for the buyer. The cord is useless because it can't be attached easily. It is a poor design period. This unit is way overpriced because of its overall design flaws. It records ok but it lacks in ease of use. I got this because I didn't want a voice activated recorder. I needed one that I could turn it on when needed. I bought this for someone else, and she is working with it....

The recorder was okay. It would not work correctly for me. It could have been driver error but it would not record everyday or record over the recording I was done with. I even reset it quite a few time. I am not talking bad about the device like I said could have been operator error.

I used to think, "I can just use my phone to record." But this guy makes it SO MUCH easier.Let's talk about what's great about this thing. - its build quality is great. It is a mix of polymer and aluminum giving it a really premium finish to it. - it is small, portable, and has a built in magnet so you can stick it places - it is RECHARGABLE, no more changing batteries - the user interface is really well designed.I was really impressed with the unit when it comes to listening to and taking off recordings from the on-board storage. Simple plug it in via USB-C to USB-A to you computer, power it on, and then you can see all the files in it. If you want to listen to recordings, just plug in the included USB-C headphones, switch it on, and it will automatically play them.If there is one things I had to critique it would be the startup time of the unit. Once you flick it on it takes about 5 seconds for the unit to start recording (it flashes the battery status then red lights to show it started recording). So if you want this for quick recordings that might bother you. But for a "set and forget" type of recorder this this is really good!

This is a great little gadget. It works very well. It is very small and compact, fitting everywhere. Easy connections and playback. It is voice activated which is very cool. Very useful for school or work or anytime you have great ideas and want to record them. Great buy!!!!!
