The top of this pot is impossible to open. I actually got my finger stuck in stuck in the spout trying to get the lid off. t's a terrible design, the top after several months just does not fit right!!

This is a replacement coffee glass canister, as the first one was my fault as it hit the sink and cracked. My advice to you is to spend a little more and get the exact replacement design. You’ll be happier for it rather than fighting for an adjustment on an unknown brand. It cleans up with regular soap and water and looks very attractive. I broke my original pot from my coffee maker and this replacement is just as perfect as the original. It worths the money and I totally recommend this product

I have very old, still functioning just fine, coffee pot. "BCC" Model.Last white carafe hit the floor & floor being harder than glass, broke. Spec say fits DCC model. Which is latest Cuisinart coffee pot. Everything matched my BCC from '80s so figured I try. Coffee pot still worked fine. Fits perfectly! Black top is improvement. Probably does stain from coffee but unlike white you don't see stain. You will be happy with this.
