This works exactly how I imagined and hoped. It's so cool to watch the lbs climb up on the screen as you pull the wrench. Then it beeps, and then flashes when you get to your load setting. It was easy even for a dummy like me. Bought this because I suspected my Harbor Freight torque wrench was giving a false reading and sure enough, it was wrong. With this one I'm sure it's FAR more accurate.

Really not bad for the price and a handy way to quickly torque stuff down for peace of mind. If you're doing high torque specs, building motors, etc get yourself a legit torque wrench lol

This allows you to use a 1/2” drive ratchet or breaker bar, depending on what you’re torquing. Listen to sounds, lets you know when you’re getting close to/ arriving at set torque, so, no need to watch the display. The display reads the actual torque in real time, plus green and red leds indicate where you’re at.

This tool is very accurate but a bit more cumbersome to use than mechanical wrenches.Pro's:1. Very large torque Range and accurate2. Very visible readout3. Can attach (in series) to existing Torque Wrench for calibration checkCon's1. Takes a bit more time to setup and get torque readings than a mechanical wrench

I purchased these for my own use. The torque indicator unit comes packaged in a sturdy plastic case with batteries, 1/4 and 3/8 inch adapters, screwdriver, instructions and calibration test data sheet.The unit attaches between ratchet or breaker bar and socket. It provides a handy alternative to a traditional dedicated torque wrench. The disadvantage is the unit takes some space near the socketThe instructions are in English and easy to follow. Three buttons allow setting target torque, continuous or peak reading, display units, snd saving up to six preselected target torques. Operation is pretty straight forward. Set the display units snd peak or continuous, return to reading mode and then begin applying torque either clockwise or counter clockwise. A green LED lights when close to the target torque, then red and a beep when target is reached. The unit shuts off automatically after three minutes of being idle. The LCD shows the torque value.If the calibration data sheet is correct, the units are surprisingly accurate. Build quality seems good. Over all, these torque indicators are a good value and a handy alternative to dedicated torque wrenches. A plus is that torque readout works equally well in both directions whereas many torque wrenches are only specified for clockwise rotation torque.

I completed a brake job and used a torque wrench from the local auto parts store. When I torqued the lug nuts it seemed like the wrench clicked too soon and that the lug nuts might be under torqued. The wrench looked well used and since it is used as a gauge I was concerned that it might be way out of calibration. I decided to buy this digital torque adapter. Sure enough, when I retorqued the lug nuts I found that they had only been torqued to between 55 and 60 ft lbs. The spec was 83 ft lbs. Potentially a very dangerous situation.I really like the digital readout and the audible and visual alerts when the preset torque is achieved. I also like that I know that it is accurate in the low, mid and upper ranges.Most of all I know that I won't abuse it like the loaner wrench/gauge I had tried to use from the auto parts store.

This thing rocks, accurate within 2%Only thing I didn’t like was that it changes away from peak mode when it goes to sleep, but no biggie to just put it back to peak
