Excellent product, and a perfect supplement to my larger manual torque wrench. That's for heavy torque jobs, and this is perfect for the smaller, lighter work.

I'm awful at over torquing and this is a great cheap add compared to other wrenchs and a life saver when working on cars.

A great device that provides flexibility with different tools. Wish I had bought this 20 years ago. While the setup is a little confusing, this tool does exactly what you need it to do! The fact that it can measure smaller torques is also helpful.

We were working on replacing our motorcycle clutch and none of the torque wrenches we have/borrowed would work in the range we needed e.g. 7-9 ft-lb. We over-did it and broke a bolt in the clutch basket which set us back. We compared ACDelco and other competitors product and decide to go with a name brand for reliability reason. We don't want to waste time playing with cheaper brand and get frustrated. It turned out to be good decision. We were able to set it down to the decimal point and put together the clutch in no time and with confidence. The motorcycle runs great now. Very happy with the product.

If you are a DYI mechanic like myself and you happen to care about the manufacturer specified torque of bolts, nuts, etc., you'll probably find this to be handy! There is a learning curve to figure out how to use the interface, it isn't super intuitive at first, but once I figured it out it is great. You set the torque where you want it, and it has a series of beeps letting you know when you're approaching that torque. You then get a readout on the screen of what torque you reached. I find myself using this more than my other mechanical torque wrenches, mostly because it gives me better feedback than just the 'click' of the other torque wrenches.

It seems the torque adapter I received in March 2021 had been sat on the shelf for a long-time. The Certificate of Calibration was from 2010! Not sure whether this was a missprint or it actually is from that long ago, but it raises questions as to whether the accuracy of this adapter can be trusted straight out of the box. For the price I paid I'd expect a more uptodate calibration.

ACDelco licenses it's name to this product made by Durofix. After tightening two 5/16" bolts to 22 ft lbs, this unit completely separated from its housing at around 16 ft lbs attempting to tighten the third bolt. After speaking to Durofix about warranty service, it was completely apparent they had no interest in objectively looking to see if the product was defective. Gino (the "technician" I spoke with) was insistent that the product was neglected or misused, but said he would take a look at it if I sent the unit back to them.Sure enough a few weeks later I received the unit back with the following letter:"After close evaluation and maintenance of the tool, I have determined, that this tool has been neglected and misused, we warranty all of our tools for one year from the date of purchase, against workmanship and quality of the tool.NEGLECT AND MISUSE IS NOT PART OF OUR WARRANTY COVERAGE!!ThanksGino"I am not sure how using the tool for one time, within the specified torque range, exactly how it was intended, is either neglect or misuse. But I guess it makes more financial sense to send a letter than replace a faulty product. If you are expecting an ACDelco quality product backed by a reputable warranty, look elsewhere.

Build quality feels very solid. It's nearly impossible for me to read the scale indicator. No backlight in the display makes it even harder.Easy to set.Audible alerts are very easy to hear.Overall this is a very lice unit for the money.I think I should've probably ordered the 1/2" version for what I'll mostly use, in about the 30 foot-pound range. It was pretty surprising to me how much force 30 foot-pounds is with a standard-sized 3/8" wrench. But this one's going to be great around 10 foot-pounds.

Seems accurate and easy to set. Only thing is that it is hard to turn on as pushing the button doesn't always turn it on the first few times. Also turns off once in a while when you snap it onto a ratchet. Mainly planning on using it to set accurancy of my click style torque wrenches.

I've used this for a few jobs now, and it's worked perfectly! It's great for basic car repair jobs, most recently I used it to to reinstall my BMW's valve cover manifold bolts to the right torques without a single snap. I've had it for close to year and it works just like the day I bought it, and still on the original battery. I originally got it ensure I wasn't overdoing it on spark plugs, and having swapped several sets of plugs on several different cars over the past year.. I have no complaints. It seems pretty solidly built, but does have lots of warnings about not twisting the plastic casing. Setting and using is easy, and there's two modes peak & trace. "Peak" basically amounts to displaying the max torque you applied, so you can stop wrenching; while "trace" lets you know the real-time torque being applied instantaneously while you're watching the display.

I stripped a few threads on a motorcycle I'm rebuilding and didn't understand why. I bought this to double-check my Harbor Freight "click" style torque wench, and it turns out that thing was way out of spec. (10 ft/lbs or more). I tossed the HF wrench and use this now. No issues. As other commenters have said, the setting is not intuitive, but you can figure it out quickly enough. If you remember that the three abbreviations (S,P,T) on the display are for the three modes Set, Peak and Trace, you should be OK. I wrote those three words on the case and have not given it much more thought. The only complaint I have is that I have a tendency to "overshoot" the set torque, so I tend to set it 0.5 ft/lb low, and then rotate the display towards me once I get to that level for the final bump.
