Good bolts. Threads are clean and hex is adequate. Neither is super-high-tolerance, but serviceable. Finish is a general black oxide, rather than a nice anodized, electroplated or polished. I wouldn't use these for high-torque applications, but absolutely suitable for bicycle stem bolts. Nice to get the appropriately sized washers with the bolts, too!

the bolts that arrived with my stem have rusted already. the rust isn't damaging anything but it's UGLY! these bolts are a great 1:1 replacement and are a nice matte black that looks great with my stem. they are low key and as much as I love some anodized bling, for my commuter that gets locked outside, these are GREAT because they don't alert thieves to how special my bike is.

I will recommend of thesebolts to any cyclist that wants good bolts to hang things on the frame
