Used for new RV refrigerator install They eliminated havingto run a 10gage line to my RV AC circuit breaker box and back.Was able to run directly from the battery and still be protected.Would have been nice to include the correct Allen wrench.

Worked fine for 1 MONTH. That’s it. Had it on my van wired up with a 40a DC DC charger. Worked fine for the past month. Looked to see why my house battery was dead. Well let’s test our voltage! I have 14v before the fuse. 0 volts after. Must have tripped even though it doesn’t look like it. Reset. Wow it’s working - for about 5 seconds. It wouldn’t stay on with the 40a charger for more than 5 seconds. Mind you it worked fine for a month previously, and the fuse is properly sized. 4AWG wire.DudLooking for a better replacement who’s got any good ones?

Easy to install, gold plated contacts. Not as weather resistant as I would have liked but I found a place to install it in the vehicle where I can easily reset it if necessary and it’s not exposed to the weather. Seems to work okay.I used it to replace a 100 amp inline fuse holder that melted to protect the 100 amp fuse.I overheated the circuit with a winch, no shorts.

Junk. Kept bumping off. Used to run alternator to redarc bcdc to secondary batteries. Noticed lcd on fridge indicating low voltage. Seemed low all the time thought malfunctioned. Checked voltmeter saw voltage was low. Circuit breaker was hot to touch and if banged on it voltage went up to 11.5v lol. Luckily stoppec at walmart and swapped out with fuse. Almost lost all the food in my fridge freezer while travelling. Junk. Ive had it for couple thousand miles and never got above 12.5 bolts. Not being familiar with redarc system thought it was normal...ish lol. After xhecking voltage in and out at all locations saw over a 3 volt drop between circuit breaker. With a fuse i now see no voltage drop and nearly full alternator and solar panel voltage at batteries.

I am using these devices in the installation of my solar panels on my camper. They fit the 10 Gauge wire from my panels perfectly, and they allow an easy way for me to switch the power from the panels and battery on / off. However, I have not tested to see if the breakers will trip if the rated amperage draw meets or exceeds their ratings.

I originally bought one 20 amp breaker of the same style. When I found these two 30 amp breakers for just a bit more, and I had realized I really needed one breaker on each side of the solar panel setup. I couldn't resist the deal. So now I have these protecting my solar panels and charge controller, and I put the 20m amp breaker in line to protect my vehicle to trailer charging setup. It all worked very well for my cross country trip and continues to do the job!
