I bought this after having multiple no crank issues or just sluggish cranking. Seemed to fix all the issues and at half the price of my local lawn mower shop.

Junk!! Complete junk!! I bought one of these, installed it without testing it assuming it's good. Wrong! They sent me a replacement and got the exact same result!! I bought a new one from another seller and it worked!! I can't believe the quality control on this item. I will never buy from this seller again.

It came as ordered but it was the wrong part so we sent it back and got a refund but of course we are out the shipping charge. Per the year and model number and parts diagram, I ordered the part.

My starter acted like I had a dead battery. It was the starter solenoid clicking but not making contact inside. Easy replacement with successful results.

My mower had been difficult to start ever since I bought it, used. It wouldn’t turn over smoothly and it seemed to struggle to get through the compression stroke. I suspect the previous owner sold it because of this problem. 2 years ago, I bought a new battery with the maximum cranking amps for my Cub Cadet LT1046 and that barely made the problem better. Then, this year, when I tried to start it for the first time, I just held the key cranked out of frustration while manually trying to turn the flywheel through the compression stroke. Well, I guess I over did it because it started to smoke from the solenoid. Thankfully it did, because up until now I hadn’t thought to check the solenoid as the problem. Anyway, after a quick google search for the right part and a cheap Amazon purchase, the lawn mower is starting like a brand new machine. So the part works as expected and was easy to replace.
